                And then there were 4. Four teams left and let’s see, the four best in each conference square off in two epic match ups. Expo, do you have the information? Do you have the stats? Are you going to kick it? Then let’s do it!!!

 

                First up the AFC Championship Game and boy was it a game. This game was a rematch of the Century. Because in the last century it seems that Peyton and Tom Terrific play in this game every year. When it has only been five times. Peyton seems to get the best of these situations. But let’s get to the game. Ole Tom did all he could to win the game. He was 27 for 56 for 310 passing, and he had 3 carries for 11 yards. But 2 interceptions isn’t good. He was also knocked down, nearly every time he dropped back, along with 4 sacks. He was beaten up, gauged, spanked, kicked, and generally left on the ground to cry in his helmet.  But with 17 seconds left on the clock ole Tom was a two point conversion from tying the game. “Never Count Tom Brady out.” Was heard far too much where we were watching the game. Expo, did that make you as sick as it did us?

Final Score the Pats 18 the Bronco 20. After the game when Peyton got to his Locker. His phone was ringing. When he answered it the voice was familiar, “Son, you have to win the next game. We need another Superbowl trophy in the family. Two is a nice round number.” To which Peyton replied “Dad, If I win it there will be four in the family.” “I never won one, so our family only has the 1 you have won. Go get us another one!”

 

                Next up the NFC Championship Game came up on the schedule. And who should be in this game? Well the Carolina Panthers and the Arizona Cardinals. Most of the so called experts said that the Panther would finally show their true colors. And it looks like their true colors are Black and Blue. That is the color of the knot they slapped on Carson Palmer’s head. We have long said that you can’t lose the turnover battle and win the game. When your team has more turnovers than punts then you are probably going to lose.

Final Score the Cardinal 15 the Panther 49. So the Panther is going to the Superbowl this year. But that doesn’t mean that the Cardinal didn’t win something. For all you do during the season Cardinal fan. This is for you! The Birth Canal Team of the Week!!!
